Afterpay is a payment service that allows you to shop now and pay later in 4 instalments, due every 2 weeks. When you use Afterpay at checkout, your purchase is split into 4 equal payments automatically. The first payment is due at the time of purchase, and the remaining 3 payments are automatically charged to your nominated card every 2 weeks.

No. Orders paid with Afterpay are processed immediately and ship just like any other payment method. At Cosmetix, orders placed before 12pm Sydney time ship the same day via Australia Post, regardless of payment method.

You'll receive your order while you're still paying it off over time.

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a valid and verifiable email address and mobile phone number
• Have an Australian or New Zealand issued credit or debit card

Returns and exchanges work the same way with Afterpay as with any other payment method. If you return an item, Afterpay will refund the payments made to date, and any scheduled future payments will be cancelled.

No. Afterpay does not perform a credit check when you sign up, and using Afterpay will not impact your credit score. Afterpay simply checks your identity and assesses your ability to pay based on their internal criteria.

Yes. You can make early payments or pay off your entire balance at any time through the Afterpay app or website. There are no penalties or fees for early repayment.

If a scheduled payment fails, Afterpay will retry the payment. You'll receive notifications from Afterpay about the failed payment and be given a short grace period to update your payment method. Late fees may apply if the payment remains unpaid after the grace period.
